AI Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-30

This AI Use Policy applies to every ImageWise AI-assisted feature, including image enhancement, upscaling, inpainting, image translation, description, analysis, visual Q&A, and prompt generation. It supplements our Terms of Service.

Content Standards and Prohibited Uses

You must not use ImageWise to create, transform, upload, distribute, or facilitate any of the following:

  • Sexual or NSFW content, including sexually explicit material or sexual exploitation.
  • Violent or gory content that promotes, glorifies, or depicts extreme violence, injury, or cruelty.
  • Hateful content, including content that attacks, dehumanizes, or encourages discrimination or violence against people or protected groups.
  • Child safety violations, including any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of minors, grooming, or content that endangers children.
  • Deepfakes or impersonation, including deceptive synthetic media that impersonates a person, misrepresents identity, or is used for fraud, harassment, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • Copyright or trademark infringement, including processing or generating content that you do not have permission to use or that unlawfully infringes another party's rights.

You must also comply with applicable laws, obtain required consents, and clearly disclose synthetic or materially altered media when disclosure is required by law or context.

Enforcement Actions

We may investigate suspected violations and, depending on severity and context, may:

  • Refuse, block, or remove an input, output, or task.
  • Limit or disable access to a feature.
  • Suspend or terminate an account.
  • Preserve relevant records and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities where required.

We may act without prior notice when needed to protect users, children, third parties, or the service. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent account termination.

Reporting Violations

To report suspected prohibited content, impersonation, copyright or trademark infringement, or child-safety concerns, email [email protected] with the relevant URL, task reference, screenshots, and a brief explanation. Do not attach or transmit illegal material, including CSAM.

We acknowledge reports, review the available information, and take appropriate action based on our policies, applicable law, and the severity of the report. We may request additional information where necessary and will handle reports as confidentially as reasonably possible.

Content Moderation

ImageWise uses a combination of automated safeguards, provider-level safety measures, and human review of reported or flagged content where appropriate. Automated checks can be imperfect and may not catch every violation. We may review prompts, uploads, generated or transformed outputs, task metadata, and account activity when reasonably necessary to enforce this policy, prevent abuse, investigate reports, or comply with law.

AI Model Transparency

The models currently used by ImageWise are disclosed in our Terms of Service, including GPT-4o mini, PaddleOCR-VL-1.6, fal-ai/topaz/upscale/image, and fal-ai/flux-pro/v1/erase. The exact model used depends on the feature; ImageWise will update the disclosure before making a material change.
