How to Translate Chinese Product Images
Translate Chinese ecommerce graphics, packaging, feature callouts, and size charts without rebuilding every design.

Chinese product images often combine headlines, specifications, comparison tables, measurements, badges, and text embedded directly into photography. Copying the words into a translator is not enough when the final deliverable also needs to look like a usable product graphic.
Collect the original assets
Start with the highest-resolution images supplied by the manufacturer or seller. Avoid screenshots when a downloadable JPG, PNG, or WebP is available. Clean source text improves recognition and gives reconstruction more visual detail to preserve.
Choose the correct Chinese variant
Select Simplified Chinese for most mainland marketplace content and Traditional Chinese when appropriate. If you are uncertain or the image mixes languages, automatic detection is a reasonable starting point. The Chinese to English Image Translator starts with Simplified Chinese selected.
Use Ecommerce mode for structured graphics
Product images typically contain independent text regions rather than paragraphs. Ecommerce mode helps prioritize callouts, labels, feature lists, and layout relationships. For packaging photography and physical labels, the Label Translator provides a focused starting point.
Tell the translator what must not change
Identify brand names, model numbers, SKU codes, dimensions, voltages, material names, and certification marks. A fluent sentence is still unusable if a numerical specification changes.
Review for commercial accuracy
Check every number, unit, claim, ingredient, warning, and compatibility statement. AI translation can accelerate localization, but regulated packaging and high-risk claims require qualified human review.
Build a repeatable workflow
Process images in a consistent order, keep source and translated files paired, and record approved terminology. When multiple graphics share the same vocabulary, that glossary reduces inconsistent wording across a listing.
